Snow is quite rare in Georgia, and when we do see some it usually doesn’t last very long. Today we got several inches, but with temperatures in the 50s expected this weekend, I’m fairly confident it won’t last long, so I went out and shot in the snow, just to get some photos of it. This barn is a short walk from my house, and I thought it would make a nice shot covered in snow. I need to figure out how to get a little more detail in the snow, and how to get a little more separation between the sky and the snow on the roof, but I don’t think it’s too bad considering I only get an opportunity to shoot this white stuff about two days per year.
I really like the lack of colors of this shot. It could be a black and white that you water colored in just the red.
The difference between sky and snow doesn't exist very well in real life. Good luck creating it in your shots.
I like this image very much. The bright red contrast against the negative white space gives this a strong graphic feel. Very nice.
