While driving back from visiting family for Christmas, we stopped at the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park in Virginia. It\’s a cool place, but was mostly shutdown for the holidays.

This shot was taken from the Visitors Center at the Park. Unfortunately, I was surprised by how magnificent the colors were, and didn\’t have much to work with to compose a shot. The composition in this shot doesn\’t really work for me, but it really captures the color of the sunset that evening.
