Another image with wonky focus that was made better by the orton effect. I shot this on the banks of Crow Creek when I was out shooting the waterfalls there over 4th of July weekend. Unfortunately, the only angle where I could actually see the image in the viewfinder would have had me sitting in the water. With the hike and drive ahead of me, I wasn’t about to risk that, so I relied on autofocus and my LCD to get the focus right. Unfortunately, when I looked at the shots on a monitor the focus was on the stick in the corner instead of the ‘srhoom itself.
