As of today I can call myself an “award winning” photographer. I submitted several photos to the Georgia National Fair in Macon, and I won seven awards: two first place ribbons, one second place, one third place,  two fifth place, and one sixth place. Since this is my first competition, I had to enter as a pro, and there are over 1,700 images submitted each year, I wasn’t really expecting too much. I’m sure I would have been happy to just place in one of the categories, so I’m thrilled to have won two of them.
