I managed to get some free time tonight to get creative and was playing with some bokeh shaping techniques I’ve been meaning to try. As I am eagerly awaiting my trip to Vermont for Christmas, and checking the weather reports daily in hopes of getting a white Christmas, I decided to post this one. With it’s snowflakes and dreamlike feel, which is about where I am today.

I have several more of these which I may post, but the snowflake won out. The lights are from a wreath I made with some garland and white Christmas lights.

Also, this is almost entirely straight out of the camera. I cloned out a stray snowflake in the lower right, resized for the web, and added a watermark. Other than that it is SOOC.
