My brother manages a band in Atlanta called At the End of All Things. I went to see their show on Saturday night and brought my cameras to see if I could get any decent images. Not being used to shooting low light conditions, this presented a unique challenge. It was definitely fun, and I got some cool shots. This is one of my favorites, although it didn’t turn out as well as I would have liked. The guy playing guitar is Jeff, he’s my brother’s brother-in-law, the girl on the left is Courtney, Jeff’s wife. I have other images where either Jeff or Courtney are in sharper focus, but for some reason this one where they’re both a little fuzzy was the one that appealed to me most. I still have a lot to learn about shooting with the aperture wide open. The narrow depth of field makes focusing difficult, especially when you’re subjects are moving. Hopefully, I’ll get a few more chances to practice shooting under these conditions.
You can see more of the photos from the show on my Flickr Page.
I like it Marcus. I like the simplicity of it. 🙂
Its very sweet. I like that they're both a little fuzzy. Its kinda like we can't quite understand the connection that is unique to them. If that even makes sense.
