This is a red bell that used to adorn a wreath. The wreath was made by my wife’s grandmother Marie, who died two months before Laura and I got married. One of the few items Laura inherited was the wreath that Marie had made, with several bells attached, including this one. Unfortunately, that wreath had seen one too many Christmases and fell apart while we were cleaning out our storage area. We did salvage the bells, and they became part of a new wreath I made. I suspect this one won’t last very long, but the bells are likely to keep ringing for years to come.
You win. I cried.
