Barbed and Barbless

Barbed and Barbless

One of my first ever concept shots. I feel it needs an explanation because it didn’t quite work the way I had planned.

This is from a photo shoot at a local park that is a preserved/restored working farm from the early 20th century. There was a barbed wire fence running around the fields of the farm, but the barbs had been cut.  What struck me is that the park service had gone to such great lengths to make the fence safe for visitors, yet there, growing along the fence, was a natural barbed wire.
